1931
Members of the Forest Home Chapel doing some repairs and maintenance in 1931, possibly in preparation for a ceremony to celebrate paying off the 15-year mortgage taken out on the parsonage next door -- by burning the mortgage document before evening service on December 13, 1931. Individuals at work, from left, are Edwin Sunderville, Jane Elizabeth "Beth" Ross, Carl Meisenhelder, Gustave Heuser, Virginia Andrews, and Edward Sewall Guthrie.
