"Col. Edwin J. Sunderville, a native of Ithaca, died at Fort Ord, Cal. Saturday, Aug. 3, 1963. A graduate of The Colleges of Arts and Sciences and Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University, he entered service with the U.S. Army in 1939. Funeral services were held in Fort Ord Chapel Tuesday, Aug. 6, 1963. Burial will be in Arlington."
