"The 52nd annual outing for the residents of the Home for the Aged, given by the Gladke family, was held yesterday afternoon at Fountainbleau. About 30 residents attended.
Entertainment at the Kayutah Lake site included accordion selections by Shorty Mason, vocals by nine-year-old Susan Gladke, the third generation of the family to participate in the annual outings, group singing and games.

Miss Cora Carpenter, Mrs. Bertha Wenz, Mrs. Hattie Bartlett, Mrs. Nellie Bly, Mrs. May Gould, Miss Minnie O°Connor, Miss Jennie Doxey, Mrs. Margaret Steffen, Mrs. Lillie Bowman, Mrs. May Tidd, Mrs. Alice Shepard.
Mrs. Susan Hill, Mrs. Martha Brown, Mrs. Ida Ostrander, Mrs. Emma Stone, Miss Jennie Barr, Mrs. Rose Wood, Mrs. Grace Benjamin, Mrs. Walter Werd, Mrs. Kittie Stanard, Mrs. Emma Kinner, Mrs. Alice Kase, Charles Williams, Jesse Carey, Harvey Wood, Mrs. Alta Calvut and Miss Elizabeth Brink.

"Twenty-seven residents of the Home for the Aged on Grand Central Ave. were given their first trip over the new Rt. 17 yesterday on their 53rd annual Gladke outing.
The annual trip was started by Morris Gladke and has been continued by his sons, Howard and Robert Gladke.
The old folks traveled over the new highway to Horseheads, visited Watkins Glen State Park, then toured the area before having dinner at Fountainebleau in Odessa.
Attending were Mrs. Mae Gould, Miss Minnie O'Conner, Mrs, Alice Bowman. Mrs. Hattie Bartlett. Mrs. Linnie Hill. Mrs. Nellie Bly. Miss Frances MacDowell, Miss Margaret Flinsbach, Mrs. Margaret Steffen, Mrs. Martha Brown, Mrs. Susan Hill, Mrs. Lilly Bowman, Mrs. Ida Ostrander, Mrs. Emma Stone, Miss Jennie Barr, Mrs. Bertha Wentz, Mrs. Rose Wood, Mrs. Emma Kinner, Mrs. Grace Benjamin, Walter Weed, Charles Wilkins, Jay Jackson, Harry Wood, Mrs. Daisy Crawford, Gilbert Flumerfelt and Mrs. Talah Morgan, superintendent.
Those who were unable to attend were presented boxes of candy. They were: Miss Catherine Donnelly, Miss Jennie Doxey, Mrs. Emma Warner, Mrs. Lydia Baker, Mrs. Mary Farr and Mrs. Alice Kase."
