Obituary for Olive Evelyn Van Dyne

"HERSHEY, Pa. — Mrs. Olive Evelyn Van Dyne, 72, of 18 Spring St., Salunga, Pa., died Wednesday, June 2, 1982, at the Hershey Medical Center of Pennsylvania State University. A long-time resident of Ithaca, she had been injured Sunday night in an automobile accident near Harrisburg.
Mrs. Van Dyne was born in London, England, the daughter of the late Thomas K. and Mabel Fuller Southby. She came to America in 1914 to Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. She moved to Ithaca in 1923 and had resided in Salunga since 1968.
She was the wife of Robert J. Van Dyne. She was a past Worthy Matron of the Forest Hill Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in Ithaca and had been a member of the St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Mount Joy, Pa.
She is survived by her husband; a son, LeRoy T. Van Dyne, of Silver Spring, Md.; a daughter, Dawn P., wife of Henry Kirchgraber, of Pinellas, Fla.; a brother, Ernest Southby, of Ithaca; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren."
