Obituary for Thomas K. Southby
The Ithaca Journal, Feb 3 1947, P. 3, Col. 2.

"Thomas K. Southby. 65, of 308 Farm St., died Saturday, Feb. 1, 1947, in Memorial Hospital.
  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mabel O. Southby; a daughter, Mrs. Olive VanDyne of Ithaca; 3 sons, Ernest of Ithaca, Thomas of Wilmington, Del., and Leonard Southby of Middletown, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Omer Page of Claymont, Del.; a brother, Cecil W. Southby of Ithaca, and 7 grandchildren.
  He was a member of Sydney Lodge 84, F. and A. Masons, Nova Scotia, Balbec Grotto, Ithaca Masonic Club, and Painters Union.
  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Wagner Funeral Home, 421 N. Aurora St. The Rev. R. E. Charles, rector of St. John's Episcopal Church, will officiate.
  Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery."
