Description
This is a two-and-a-half story home featuring a gable roof, front shed dormer, and front and side porches, with a two-story porch to the north (rear). The two-story sleeping porch was enclosed, date unknown. The exterior finish was originally stucco and shingle.  The stucco was covered with aluminum siding in 1980. Also in 1980, the former chicken house was converted into a playhouse, the garage was replaced with a carport, and a new window was added in a gable end

The 1991 Building-Structure Inventory mentions that the interior featured dark oak and chestnut millwork, which has been attributed to Jacob Bogardus, a local cabinet maker who was the original owner.
