Rocco Lucente was preparing to build 9 new houses along the north side of Hanshaw Rd and build Salem Rd for access to more houses to be developed later, north of this subdivision. The existing house, the Morris farmhouse, is shown as No. 1426.
The new houses were to be No. 1416, No. 1420, No. 1430, No. 1432, No. 1434, No. 1436, No. 1438, No. 1440, and No. 1442. The 1959 Ithaca City Directory showed No. 1426 as owned by Robert H. Wahl and one new house as occupied, No. 1430.
