Obituary for Harrison A. Ward

"Harrison A. Ward of 206 Elmwood Ave, died unexpectedly Wednesday noon, Dec. 6, 1944, at his home.
Born in Morris in 1874, he attended Cornell, graduating from the School of Mechanical Engineering with the Class of 1898. He held positions with the Western Electric Company and the Sterling Blower Company in New York City and Philadelphia, Pa., before returning in 1919 to Cornell as heating engineer, the position he held until his retirement in July of this year.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edith Church Ward; a son, H. Schuyler Ward of Ithaca, and a sister, Miss Elizabeth H. Ward of New York City.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Wagner Funeral Home, 421 N. Aurora St. Temporary interment will be in Lake View Cemetery, with later burial in Morris."
