"Mr. and Mrs. Leon V. Perham of Candor have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Leona Perham to Hall Y. Sanford, seaman first class, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Sanford of Forest Home.
  No wedding date has been announced."

 "MINOA, NY - Hall Y. Sanford, 82, of Minoa, passed away Thursday.
  Born in Ithaca, he attended Cornell University. He served with the US Navy during WWII. Hall was a manager at Agway in DeWitt for 40 years. He was a member of the Nortrip Lodge 998 F & M.
  He was predeceased by his wife Leona Sanford in 1994.
  Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie Sanford of California; a son, Gary (Kathy) Sanford of Bernhards Bay; longtime friend, Jean Dena; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews."
