The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white nylon, taffeta and antique Alencon lace with lace mitts. Her fingertip French illusion veil fell from a lace cap and she carried a bouquet of demure sweetheart roses with blue delphinium center ringed with lilies of the valley.
Miss Margaret Sheinfeld of Jamaica, the maid of honor, wore a waltz length gown of white organdy over royal blue taffeta and carried yellow sweetheart roses and maidenhair fern.
Miss Malle Kapsta of Ithaca, the bridesmaid, wore a gown of white dotted nylon organdy over old rose taffeta and carried pink roses and maidenhair fern.
Mrs. Bruun, the bride's mother, wore an afternoon dress of dusty pink nylon net over pink taffeta with black accessories and a corsage of pink and rose sweetheart roses. The bridegroom's mother wore a blue lace afternoon dress with hat of matching blue flowers and white accessories and a corsage of yellow sweetheart roses.
Eugene Staneslow of Prospect, Conn., was best man for his brother and the ushers were Robert Staneslow of Prospect, another brother, David W. Clark of Skaneateles, Martin Cohen of Cambridge, Mass., and Alvin Macomber of Syracuse.
The reception was held at Willard Straight Hall and the wedding dinner for the bridal party and families at the Statler Club.
After a trip to Lake Minnewaska and Bridgeton, Me., Mr. and Mrs. Staneslow will reside at Ithaca RD 2 for the summer.
The bride was graduated from Ithaca High School in 1951 and is a candidate for an A.B. degree on Monday from Cornell University. She plans to continue with graduate work at Temple University in the Fall.
