Obituary for Geoffrey Arthur Bruun

 "Geoffrey Arthur Bruun, died Wednesday, July 13, 1988, at his home in Ithaca.
  He was born in Montreal, Quebec.
  After receiving his bachelor's degree from the University of British Columbia and his Ph.D. from Cornell University, he became a faculty member of New York University and Columbia University.
  He became a visiting professor at Cornell, Mt. Holyoke, Smith, the University of Illinois and Georgetown University.
  His books include biographies of Saint Just and Clemenceau and numerous textbooks on European history.
  He is survived by his wife, Margarete; two daughters, Olga Bruun Staneslow of St. Paul and Doris Bruun of Copake; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
  There will be a memorial service Oct. 22 at the Unitarian Church."
