This two-story rectangular house has an open gable roof with exposed rafters. It is sheathed in clapboard on the first story and shingles on the second story and gable ends. There is a wrap-around porch with Colonial Revival style columns and a two-story, canted side bay. A rear wing houses a ground floor screened porch and unaltered second story sleeping porch.
In the early 1950s, the house had a Forest Home Drive address as indicated on the 1950 census and other sources. The 1951 Ithaca City directory lists Geoffrey Bruun at 117 Forest Home Dr. Exactly when the Judd Falls Road address came into use is uncertain. The driveway to Judd Falls Road was put through in 1950. Both addresses were in use in the mid 1970s. See
