  “Daisy D. Majors, 59, of 204 S. Plain St., died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 1985, at Arnot-Ogden Hospital in Elmira.
  She had worked for many years as a sales clerk at J.C. Penney Department Store in Ithaca.
  She is survived by a brother, George M. Browne and a sister, Mrs. Josephine Yeaton, both of Ithaca; and several nieces.
  Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Herson Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry of St. James AME Zion Church officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.”
