  “Mrs. Nellie D. Browne, 88, of 204 S. Plain St. died today, Feb. 28, 1974, in her home.
  She was the daughter of the late James and Marcellene Butler, and widow of the late James Browne.
  She was a member of St. James AME Zion Church.
  Surviving are two sons, George M. Browne of Ithaca and James Browne of Rochester; three daughters, Mrs. Josephine Yeaton of Ithaca, Mrs. Henrietta Hill of Buffalo, and Mrs. Daisy Majors of Ithaca; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Cassandra Felton and Miss Ethel Butler, both of New York City.
  Funeral arrangements will be announced by Herson Funeral Home.”
