"Dr. George H. Lee, one of the foremost authorities on photoelastic methods of studying metals under stress, has joined the staff of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as professor of mechanies. Since 1945 Dr. Lee has been teaching in the U. S. Naval Postgraduate School at Annapolis."
