"One of the local spring building operations now nearing completion is the two-story fire-proof addition at the plant of the Sanitary Ice Cream Company on lower West State street.
The new building is of cement and stone construction and is now partly occupied. The building contains additional space for the steam, cooling, sterilizing, receiving and pasteurizing rooms and also new general and private offices.
The company will shortly announce plans for a general public inspection of the plant, the completeness and extensiveness of which is little known to Ithacans. Visiting days will be set aside for the various sections of the city. Refreshments will be served to visitors."
