  The 60th wedding anniversary of John F. (Jack) and Abbie D. Leonard was celebrated on July 3, 1999, at an afternoon reception at Branches attended by their children, relatives and close friends.
  The champagne reception was given in honor of the couple by their children, Dawn MacGraffick of Greensboro, N.C., and John and Sharyn Leonard of Chula Vista, Calif.
  The couple were married July 1, 1939, at State Street Methodist Church.
  Mr. Leonard is retired from Tayton's and Mrs. Leonard is retired from Cornell University. The couple live on Seven Mile Drive in Ithaca."
