Engagement of Barbara Lou Gentry to Ralph Meredith Rasch Jr.

"Mrs. Eleanor S. Gentry of 108 N. Plain St. announces the engagement of her daughter, Miss Barbara Lou Gentry, to Ralph Meredith Rasch Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph M. Rasch of Ithaca RD 4.
  Miss Gentry is a member of the senior class at Ithaca High School and is employed in Montgomery Ward & Co.
  Mr. Rasch was graduated from Ithaca High School, Class of 1951, and will leave for service the latter part of August.
  No date has been set for the wedding."

Note: RD 4 is south of Ithaca.  This location is not consistent with the 1950 census record for Ralph Rasch and his family, which would be on RD 1.
