    No house number on census. Francis O. & Erma Underwood bought property from Stanley W. & Esther Y. Warren in 1936 (Instrument ID BF105257-001 in Tompkins County Clerk database). By 1961, the property was divided into 3 lots as shown in BF023553-001 MAP for 1020, 1022, and 1024 Hanshaw Rd. The house in which the Underwoods lived in 1950 for the census was to be changed from 1020 to 1022 Hanshaw Rd in 1961. In Ithaca City Directory for 1952, the house number was 1000. Prior to that directories had no house number for the house. Many houses on Hanshaw Road east of Community Corners (aka Corners Community) changed house number after the expansion of Cayuga Heights Village in 1953. From 1953 to 1961, the house number was 1020.
