Description
This building replaced a single-family house at this location in about 1906.

A fire in 1914 destroyed thus building along with a  building on either side. A newer building, 132-134 W State St was constructed here in 1920.

"The first floor of the building was occupied by Mr. Morris with a shoe shop; William Miller's tailor shop; and the Star Restaurant conducted by Winfield Knapp.... Morris and his family occupied apartments on the second floor but they were out calling at the time the fire broke out."
