In 1953, the lot was partitioned into a western lot (332) owned and lived in by daughter Mrs. Isabelle Thomas and husband Joseph and an eastern lot owned by son Stewart Mitchell and wife Beryl. Stewart and Beryl owned that lot but lived elsewhere in Ithaca. William C. Mitchell and his second wife, Maude had been living in 336 since they were married in 1945. Maude died in 1957. The eastern lot was subdivided ca. 1976 when owned by Carl and Elsie Root.
