Obituary for Sara Celia Knox
The Ithaca Journal, Aug 16 1948, P. 5, Col. 5

  "Miss Sara Celia Knox, 82, of Forest Home, a state examiner in the Education Department for 20 years, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 1948, in Memorial Hospital.
  Miss Knox taught Latin in Cascadilla Preparatory School, and tutored extensively. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
  She is survived by a sister, Miss Helen M. Knox of Forest Home; a brother, the Rev. Herbert W. Knox of Jamaica, L.I., and a nephew, George W. Knox of Tarrytown.
  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Forest Home Chapel. The Rev. Howard Alsdorf, pastor, will officiate.
  Burial will be in Knoxboro Cemetery, Knoxboro."
