“Michael Granville, 84, died on Monday night, May 9, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Corey Willsey, on the Spencer Road, after a brief illness. The funeral will be held at 8:30 o’clock on Thursday morning, May 12, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Willsey and at 9 o’clock at the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, John and Matthew Granville of Ithaca; three daughters, Mrs. Y. Reyna, Mrs. Corey Willsey, and Miss Minnie Granville of Ithaca.
Mr. Granville had been a resident of Ithaca for the past 65 years, having been one of the first Catholice[sic] in the district."
