Obituary for Albert Johns

"Albert Johns, 65, of 208 East Lewis Street, died unexpectedly Saturday, January 8, 1994 at his home. He was born in Ithaca son of the late Moses and Julia Deeb Johns.
  Albert founded Seneca Printing in 1966 and operated it until his retirement in 1991. The business is now being run by his wife and son, Jim, who had worked with Albert for many years. Following his retirement he spent a few hours a day at the shop to see his customers whose friendship meant so much to him. He was a corporal with the United States Marine Corps. from 1946 to 1948 and was a former member of the Elks Lodge #636 and St. Johns Episcopal Church. He was an avid golfer and a long time member of Newman Golf Course.
  He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Johns of Ithaca. His sons, Al and Jim Johns of Ithaca. His son and daughter in law, Lee and Julie Johns of Corning. His grandchildren, Roslyn Julia Johns and Justin Charles Johns. Albert is also survived by his sister, Mary Johns of Ithaca. Albert will always be remembered as a loving son, husband. father, grandfather and brother.
  Private services were held Monday at Bangs Funeral Home. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery."
