"Prof. Philip G. Johnson and Mrs. Johnson of 102 Northway Rd. announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Phyllis Ream Johnson, to John Parkhill Evans, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley W. Evans of Warsaw, Ind.
Miss Johnson was graduated from Ithaca High School and in 1959 from the College of Arts and Sciences at Cornell University where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta social sorority. She is presently employed at the New York State Veterinary College at Cornell.
Mr. Evans was graduated from Warsaw High School and is now in his last year in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Cornell where he is a member of Delta Tau Delta social fraternity and Tau Beta Pi honorary engineering fraternity.
A late summer wedding is planned."
