Obituary for Anna Louella Northrop
The Ithaca Journal, Jan 12 1942, P. 3, Col. 2.

"Miss Anna Louella Northrop of Forest Home died today, Jan. 12, 1942, at her home.
  She is survived by a brother, Earl G. Northrop.
  Miss Northrop, a lifelong resident of Forest Home, was a member of the First Methodist Church of Ithaca, the Cornell Woman's Club, and Forest Home Sewing Circle. She was graduated from Cornell with the Class of 1901.
  Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Forest Home Chapel, by the Rev. Ralph Helverson, pastor, who will be assisted by the Rev. John A. Redmond, pastor of the First Methodist Church.
  Interment will be in the family plot of Pleasant Grove Cemetery."
