"Mrs. Gertrude Eckels Whetzel, 90, of Forest Home, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 1948, at her home.
She was a member of Forest Home Chapel.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Miss Minnie M. Whetzel, Miss Amy Whetzel, both of Forest Home, and Mrs. George A. Osner of Delane, Calif.; a son, Samuel E. Whetzel of Kendallville, Ind., 8 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday in Forest Home Chapel with the Rev. Howard Alsdorf of Forest Home officiating.
Interment in Lake View Cemetery will be private."
