Obituary for George H. Lee II (1939 - 2021)

"George H. Lee II passed away peacefully on December 18, 2021, at his residence in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on February 26, 1939, in Ithaca, New York to the late George H. Lee and Dora Raymo Lee. George is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, June Brown Lee; sons, David (Claudine) and Daniel (Stephanie) Lee and grandchildren, Nicholas, Kayla, Aaron, and Zachary Lee.
George received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York and Post-Doctoral Education at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. His research career continued in San Antonio with Southwest Research Institute and Brooks A.F.B. He was involved in the Boy Scouts of America, had interests in Genealogy and Astronomy, enjoyed playing softball, tennis, and golf. Travelling both cross country and abroad were also special times for his wife and family and friends."
