Obituary for William H. Long
The Ithaca Journal, Jun 7 1949, P. 7, Col. 2

"William H. Long, 55, of 524 Dryden Rd., died Monday, June 6, 1949. A graduate of the University of Michigan, he had been a research physiologist for the federal government at the University of Michigan, at Cornell University and in Washington, D.C.
  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mynette Graf Long: two sons, William H. Long and Robert S. Long of Ithaca, and a grandson, William H. Long.
  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Wagner Funeral Home, 421 N. Aurora St., with the Rev. John H. Sardeson of the Lutheran Church officiating.
  Interment will be in Lake View Cemetery."
