Obituary for Mrs. Hilda Horton
The Ithaca Journal, Apr 25 1960, P. 2, Col. 1.

"Mrs. Hilda Horton, 62, of 328 Spencer Rd. died Sunday, April 24, 1960, in Tompkins County Hospital where she had been a patient for two weeks.
  She was a member of the State Street Methodist Church, and the Woman's Society of Christian Service and the Philathea Class of the church.
  Surviving are her husband, Phythian Horton; a daughter, Mrs. Herbert Marsden of Ithaca; two grandchildren; four brothers, Gustav Bratt, Axel Bratt and Carl Bratt, all of Lynn, Mass., and Ivar Bratt of Goteborg, Sweden, and a sister, Mrs. Augusta Fisher of Peabody, Mass.
  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Wagner Funeral Home, 421 N. Aurora St. The Rev. Floyd DeFlyer of the State Street Methodist Church will officiate, Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery."
