“Stanley Wells, 36, died this morning at his home, 521 West Green street, after a short illness. Besides his wife he leaves a sister, Mrs. Mary Tombs of Washington, Ga. He was a member of several colored lodges.

The funeral will be held at 3 o’clock Monday afternoon from the home. Rev. H. J. Johnson will officiate, assisted by Rev W. D. White. Interment will be in Lake View Cemetery.”
