Marriage of Dorothy Marie Farrell and Paul L. McKeegan
The Ithaca Journal, Oct 7 1933, P. 7, Col. 5.

 "Miss Dorothy Marie Farrell, daughter of Mr. and/ Mrs. John B. Farrell of Lansing, and Paul L. McKeegan, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. L. McKeegan of Ithaca, were married at 8 o'clock this morning at the Church of the Immaculate Conception.
  The ceremony was performed by the Rev. William Byrne, pastor, assisted by the Rev. George Kalb of King Ferry. A wedding breakfast was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Hamill of Groton.
  The bride wore pale pink satin with matching turban and slippers and carried a bouquet of white Killarney roses and Swansonia. She was attended by her sister, Miss Mildred Farrell, as maid of honor. and by Miss Claudine Kane as bridesmaid, both of whom wore Jacob blue satin with matching accessories and carried rapture roses. Karl Krist was best man, and the ushers were Hugh Malone of New York City and Dr. Robert Price.
  The church was decorated with palms and gladioli, Mrs, Frank Kane and John Purcell sang Arcadelt's Ave Maria at the Offertory of the Mass and Montani's Agnus Dei at Communion. George King Driscoll, cousin of the bridegroom, played organ music before the ceremony and presided at the organ during the Mass.
  Both Mr. and Mrs. MeKeegan are members of the administrative staff of Cornell University. After a wedding trip to New York City and Washington, D. C. they will make their home at 107 South Cayuga Street. ..."

 "Dorothy Farrell McKeegan, 83. of 1201 Hanshaw Road, died Wednesday, January 25, 1995 at her home. She was born in Ithaca, daughter of the late John and Theresa Carroll Farrell. She was the widow of Paul L. McKeegan who died in 1983.
  Dorothy was a graduate of Barnes Business College, Ithaca and had worked in the Physics Department at Cornell University for eight years. She was a member of Saint Catherine of Siena Church, Statler Club, Dewitt Historical Society and the Country Club of Ithaca where she was the Women's Club Champion in 1958. She was a former member of the Ithaca Garden Club, the Campus Club and Tompkins Community Hospital Volunteers.
  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol H. and Thomas B. Kent Jr. of Boulder, CO. Grandchildren, Thomas B. Kent Jr. of Boulder, Dr. Paul McKeegan Kent and Sara Kent of Rochester, Minnesota. Alison and Mark Trafton of San Diego. Her daughter, Kathleen K. McKeegan of Scottsdale, Arizona, Grandchildren, Robert and Susanne Causer and Colleen Causer all of Denver, Colorado. Her daughter and son-in-law, Mary M. and Duane Davis of Ithaca, Grandchildren, Stephanie Davis of Seattle, Washington and Daniel Davis of Ithaca. Her sister, Mildred Rodgers of Lansing. Niece, Anne Rodgers of Rochester, New York. She is also survived by her nephew and his wife, John and Theresa Rodgers of Lansing and their children, Aubrey and Joshua.
  A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Larry Barnett and Pastoral Associate Brian Ksiazek on Monday, January 30, 1995 at Bangs Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in the spring."
