The marriage of Dorothy Ellen Hungerford to Frank McCartney took place on Mar 27 1937.

"Miss Dorothy Ellen Hungerford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy E. Hungerford of the Ellis Road, and Frank McCartney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert G. McCartney of Philadelphia, Pa., were married at the home of the bride at 4 p. m. Saturday, Mar 27 1937. ... The matron of honor was Mrs. J. W. McCartney, sister of the bride. She wore pale blue flowered organdy. The best man was J. W. McCartney, brother of the groom.
The bride was graduated from Cornell with the class of 1934, and is the teacher of home economics in McLean High School."

Two Hungerford sisters married two McCartney brothers.

Dorothy H. McCartney of Johnson City (formerly of Ithaca) died Nov 17 1992, survived by her husband Frank L. McCartney of Johnson City.
