Marriage of Joel E. Blodgett and Julie Letitia Westervelt (on June 25, 1960)

"Miss Julie Letitia Westervelt became the bride of Joel E. Blodgett at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 1960, in Sage Chapel on the Cornell University campus.
  The Rev. Alfred P. Coman, pastor of Forest Home Chapel, performed the wedding ceremony in a setting of palms, candelabra and a bouquet of flowers. James Armstrong, Chapel organist, played traditional wedding music.
  The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph H. Westervelt of 215 Forest Home Drive. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward E. Blodgett of Brooktondale RD 1.
  The bride was given in marriage by her father.

  Bridesmaids were Miss Gladys Taytor of Newburg, Miss Elizabeth Semerad of Schenectary and Mrs. Richard Conley of Ithaca.
