Obituary for Julia S. Westervelt

"Julia S. Westervelt, 81, of 215 Forest Home Drive, died Saturday, Sept 3, 1983 in Tompkins Community Hospital.
Mrs. Westervelt was born in Elmira, daughter of the late George and Letita Dupre Steinhauser. She graduated from Geneseo Teachers College in 1925 and retired as a teacher from the Ithaca school district in 1962.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph H. Westervelt of Ithaca; a daughter, Julie and son-in-law, Joel E. Blodgett of Peoria, III.; two granddaughters, Kathleen and Lisa Blodgett of Peoria, Ill.; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Westervelt was a member of the Forest Home Chapel.
Private burial services will be held at East Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Forest Home Chapel."
