Obituary for Helen P. Washburn
The Ithaca Journal, Jul 13 1961, P. 5, Cols 6-7.

"Helen P. Washburn, 58, of 112 Judd Falls Road, Forest Home died Wednesday, July 12, 1961 in Tompkins County Hospital.
  A native of Franklinville, N. Y., Mrs. Washburn received her masters degree from Cornell and was a teacher at Oneonta State Teachers College before her retirement.
  She is survived by two sons, Richard Washburn of Ithaca and Carl Washburn of Oakland, Cal., and a grandson, Lars Washburn of Oakland, Calif."
