Andrews Confectionery Collection
This collection contains materials donated by Olympia Andrews McFall concerning the Andrews Confectionery of Ithaca. This sweet shop, at 308 East State St., was a popular destination for Ithacans for almost 60 years. Opened in 1931 by Greek immigrant Anthony Andrews and his wife Ruby, Andrews Confectionery was a family business until the late 1980s, when Ruby, by that time a widow, sold the business. The building was destroyed by fire in 1989.
