Obituary for Harland B. Tibbetts (died July 6, 1943). 
The Ithaca Journal and Brooklyn Eagle, Jul 7 1943.

"Tibbetts was born here [Ithaca] Oct. 26, 1883, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Frank E. Tibbetts. His father practiced law for many years in Ithaca. Harland Tibbetts was graduated from the Ithaca High School, and in 1904 received the bachelor of arts degree from Cornell. In 1906 he took the bachelor of laws degree."

"He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Florence Gill Tibbetts; two daughters, Mrs. Stephen Patterson and Mrs. H. Justin Patterson, both of Bay Shore, and four grandchildren."
