Obituary for Alice H. Tibbetts, The Ithaca Journal, Jun 26 1946

"Miss Alice H. Tibbetts, 67, of 407 N. Cayuga St., a lifelong resident of Ithaca and 22 years with the Tompkins County Trust Company, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, June 25, 1946, in Conklin Sanatorium of a heart ailment.
Miss Tibbetts retired 2 years ago after being associated with the Trust Company and with its predecessor, the Ithaca Trust Company, as a teller in the interest department. She had previously worked for the Athletic Association of Cornell University and in the county clerk's office.
She was the daughter of J. Warren Tibbetts and Anna F. Tibbetts. Her father was engaged in the paint business in Ithaca at the corner of Meadow and State St. for many years, and served as county sheriff for several terms. He was a captain in the Civil War.
Her only survivor in Ithaca is a brother-in-law, Arthur B. Wellar. Other survivors include a niece and nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Fred N. Anibal of Rochester, and their son, a great-nephew, Arthur Anibal, also of Rochester."
