Obituary for Henry Ten Broeck Schuyler
Ithaca Daily Journal, 15 August 1887, P. 3. Col. 2.

"Henry Ten Broeck Schuyler died at his residence on North Aurora street this morning, aged eighty-three years. Mr. Schuyler was a brother of the Hon. George W. Schuyler and James V. R. Schuyler. He was well known to the older residents of Ithaca having in his earlier years been one of the town's most prominent business men. With the Hon. F. W. Sage he was at one time quite extensively engaged in the lumber business in Canada. Some twenty years ago he retired from active business life. Mr. Schuyler's last illness extended over a period of forty weeks. The funeral will take place from his late residence, No. 71 North Aurora street, Wednesday Aug. 17, at 3 P.M. Surviving the deceased are a son, Sage Schuyler, and a daughter, Mrs. Will Church."
