"William Bennett Hall, 58, died Monday, May 4, 1953, at his home, 304 Utica St., after a long illness. He was a deputy sheriff of Tompkins County under the late Sheriff Harrison Adams for about 10 years. He had also been a taxi driver and was a caller for square dances and an orchestra conductor."
