Obituary for George R. Allen -- Chicago Man Dies in Store

  "George R. Allen, 69, of 8426 S. Kolmar Ave., Chicago, Ill., died about 10 a.m. this morning in the S. S. Kresge Co., store after a heart attack.
  He was on a trip east with his wife, visiting relatives and friends in Ithaca. His wife is at the home of her sister, Mrs. Earl Bartholf, Taughannock Boulevard.
  Besides his wife he is survived by a son, John A. Allen of Chicago; a brother, Charles Allen and a sister, Mrs. Cora Oliver, both of Syracuse; two grandsons and several nephews and nieces.
  Funeral arrangements are incomplete awaiting the arrival of his son by plane from Chicago."
