"Mrs. Barbara Mae Drake, 38, died at 5 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 1936, at her home in the Town of Lansing. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Gilbert Undertaking Parlors, 125 East Buffalo Street. The Rev. J. Irving Reese will officiate and interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
  Surviving are her husband, Carey L. Drake; two daughters, Madaline and Clara, and two sons, Merton and Lawrence, all of the Town of Lansing; a sister, Mrs. Cora Oliver of Ithaca, and two brothers, Raymond Allen of Hanshaw Corners and Charles Allen of Syracuse.
  Mrs. Drake was a member of the Etna Grange."
