"Mrs. Clara Belle Allen, 74, widow of John J. Allen, died early Tuesday morning, June 11, 1935, at her home, 501 West Seneca Street.
  Funeral services will be held at the Baldwin-Davis Funeral Parlors, 421 North Aurora Street, Thursday afternoon, June 13, at 3:30 o'clock, the Rev. J. Irving Reese, pastor of the Tabernacle Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Quick Cemetery, Brooktondale.
  She is survived by two sons, Charles S. Allen of Syracuse and George R. Allen of Ithaca RD 2: two daughters, Mrs. Cora B. Oliver of Ithaca and Mrs. C. L. Drake of Ithaca RD 1, and a brother, Charles La Shier of Ithaca."
