Marriage of Betsy McGee to W. Edgar Curtis to be on Sept 17 1941

"ELM - SHADED CHRIST CHURCH, EPISCOPAL, in Hudson will be the scene of the wedding Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. of Miss Betsy McGee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold G. McGee, to W. Edgar Curtis, son of Prof. Otis Curtis and Mrs. Curtis of Ithaca, N. Y. Mr. McGee is director of municipal research of the Akron chamber of commerce.
  The ceremony will be performed by Rev. Frank Shaffer, rector of Grace church, Defiance.
  Mr. Curtis' sister, Margaret, will be maid of honor, While Miss McGee's brother, Charles, will be best man. Miss Betty Jane Jackson, New Haven, Conn., will be a bridesmaid, as will Miss Mary Helen Bradshaw, Ann Arbor, Mich., and Miss Mary Shreiner, Oberlin.
  Ushers include Peter McGee, James Stevenson and Robert Forsberg.
  The ceremony will be followed by a reception in the guild hall of the church.
  Miss McGee was graduated from Oberlin and received her master's degree from there in June. Mr. Curtis, also an Oberlin graduate, is working for his doctor's degree at Cornell university, Ithaca, N. Y."
