 "LAKELAND - Gustave F. Heuser, 87, Lakeland, died Wednesday at his home.
  A native of Buffalo, N.Y., he came to Lakeland from Ithaca, N.Y., in 1957. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge in Ithaca, N.Y., secretary and treasurer of the World's Poultry Science Association and editor of the World's Poultry Science Journal. He received his doctorate degree from Cornell University and was a professor at Cornell 42 years.
  He is survived by his wife, Mildred; his sons, Arthur Heuser, Rock Hill, S.C., and Robert Heuser, Arlington, Va.; his daughter-in-law, Bernice Heuser, Virginia Beach, Va.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren."
