"MELBOURNE BEACH - Forrest B. Wright, Ph.D., a retired university professor, author and inventor, died Sunday, June 16, at home.
  Born in Four Oaks, Ky., Dr. Wright moved to Brevard County six years ago from Raleigh, N.C. He had instructed more than 10,000 students by the time he retired from Cornell University in 1958 as professor emeritus of agricultural engineering.
  He was an aviator during World War I and while a student at Cornell, was an extra in some of the earliest motion pictures, made before the industry moved to California.
  Dr. Wright was a recipient of Boy Scouts' Silver Beaver award. He was a member of Phi Delta Kappa, Pi Kappa Alpha, Sigma Psi and the Unitarian Universalist Church of Ithaca.
  Survivors include his wife, Mildred Wright of Melbourne Beach; son, Paul Wright of Raleigh, N.C.; five grandsons; and six great-grandchildren.
No calling hours are scheduled. Private memorial services will be in Ithaca. 
  Brownlie and Maxwell Funeral Home in Melbourne is in charge of arrangements.
  Donations may be made to the Agricultural Engineering Scholarship Fund at Cornell University."
