"Robert M. Rathbone, 79, of Vestal died at Wilson Hospital, Sunday, September 17, 2000. Survived by his wife of 56 years, ZoraMae; two sons, Thomas Rathbone and his fiance, Chris Warnes, Michael Rathbone and his fiance, Mary Sayman; one daughter, Marie Ann Rathbone; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three stepsisters and a stepbrother; special aunt, Katherine Devine. He was a member of the VFW #1449; member of the American Legion Post #89, Vestal.
  Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park."
