Obituary for Roland S. Kellogg

"Roland S. Kellogg, 81, of 501 Ellis Hollow Creek Road, died Friday, Nov. 15, 1985, at Tompkins Community Hospital. He was born in Burdett, a son of the late Stephen and Coral Dunham Kellogg.
  Mr. Kellogg was a 1924 graduate of Alfred University. He was associated with the late professor G. F. Warren of Cornell in producing laying flocks of winter eggs for 20 years and had owned a poultry farm on Slaterville Road. He retired from Cornell University Veterinary College as a superintendent of the Large Animal Clinic in 1970.
  He was a member of Forest Home Chapel for 56 years, of Independent Order of Odd Fellows and of Ide's Senior Citizens Bowling Club.
  He is survived by his wife, Margery Noble Kellogg of Ithaca; a son, Ronald K. Kellogg of Australia; two daughters, Shirley Bruce of Jupiter, Fla., and Sandra Stout of Lake Worth, Fla.; four granddaughters; a great-granddaughter; two brothers, Theodore J. Kellogg of Burdett and Malcolm C. Kellogg of Scipio Center; and several nieces and nephews.
  Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Forest Home Chapel with the Rev. Margaret Smith officiating. There are no calling hours.
  Memorial donations may be made to Forest Home Chapel Memorial Fund or to American Cancer Society, 111 S. Fulton St., Ithaca. Bangs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements."
