“Caroline, April 19. John Webb, a life-long resident of Caroline, died at his home April 14. He had been ill only a few days. He is survived by his aged brother, James Webb, two nephews, Fred Smith of Ithaca and A. P. Webb, and a niece, Mrs. Mabel Van Dyke, both of the latter residing in Caroline, besides his little son, Fred. Mr. Webb was about 70 years old. The funeral was held at his late home at 1 p.m. Saturday.”
